I APPRECIATE YOUR SERVANTS HEART, CHEERFUL COUNTENANCE AND MOST OF ALL, YOUR LOVE AND DEDICATION TO OUR LORD! WHAT A BLESSING TO BE WITH ALL OF YOU AGAIN!! WE REALLY ENJOYED FELLOWSHIPPING WITH CROSSROADS AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD FOR MORE!! I WAS REALLY TOUCHED BY PASTOR SUE'S LOVE AND SUPPORT FOR THE GIRLS ON FRIDAY NIGHT. BECAUSE OF HER AND BERNARD'S LOVE~ AND ALL OF CROSSROADS LOVE, THESE YOUNG LADIES EXPERIENCED THE LOVE OF GOD AND NOW HAVE NEW LIVES IN HIM! TO HEAR THEM SPEAK OF HIS GOODNESS, LOVE AND TRANSFORMING POWER IN THEIR LIVES, REALLY BLESSED ME! AND LAST WEEK AT YOUR CHURCH IN HARTFORD, MY FRIEND MARNIE AND I WERE SO BLESSED AND REFRESHED DURING WORSHIP!!! WE BOTH REALLY NEEDED IT! WE HAD FUN DANCING AND SINGING WITH EVERYONE! “Give them back their mind she says, Give them back their children, their love, joy, peace, freedom, and their love to save those that are lost.
Our pastor is by no means selfish,She puts the needs of others before herself with every concern for lost souls.
What kind of woman would put herself on the back burner to care for another?
What kind of woman would give all her time for others and 1% to herself? What kind of woman would like you when you don’t like her?
What kind of woman would love you when you talk about her?
What kind of woman would love you when you disagree with her?
What kind of woman would love you when she knows that your intensions towards her are evil?

April 10th Well I can say that the chapter that speaks on how to speak to children has really helped me in my relationship with my son Joshua. I had never realized that when I was reprimanding him, I was putting him down. Since reading this book, I have turned it completely around. Yes, I will get angry at him at times, but now, I focus on all of his positives, let him know that I acknowledge them , and tell him that I’d like to see more positives….Joshua has noticed the change as well and has even told me that he is more confident now.
When I thought I was pushing to do better by letting him know how angry I was, yelling, telling him that what he had done was stupid and he’d better get it right, I had no idea that I was breaking him down every time I did this. I know make sure that I think before speaking to anyone, hold off when Im angry (still trying J), and make sure that I say something positive to everyone that crosses my path everyday. This change has been awesome. June 20th - Being a Christian is not an easy task, but it is worth it
But so often we tend to wear a mask, this mask expresses unfamiliar behaviors, facial expressions and smiles that don't seem to be genuine. It doesn't show Gods love, gentleness, humbleness or any other characteristics but it shows our own. Some people may say that it is hard to show Gods love but that is not true if we walk in the spirit it is possible.
God saved us for a reason but too often we forget what it really means to be saved, we stop showing love, we backbite on one another, we lie, curse people and curse them out and then go to church and say HALELUHJAH.
What does it really mean to be saved? What does it really mean to be a christian? What does it really mean to be? God makes it so simple and plain for us but we make it so hard. He says just believe and we say I can not do it, he says have faith, we say It does not look like I am coming out of this.
We need to get our priorities straightened out and do what we are called to do, LOVE. With love everything else will fall in place. Love is what set the foundations, love is what healed, set free and delievered oh and do not forget FAITH.
My brothers my sisters lets make this thing easy. We can live a cherrful, fulfilling life if we do it the right way, if we put a muzzel over our mouth and do not say what our anger tells us to say. If we tell our mind that it belongs to God and we refuse to let satan dwell in it. If we live for today and not tomorrow. If we think about someone else besides ourself. If we think about Godddddddd we can do all things.
June 16 Good morning Pastor,
First I just want to say that YOU PREACHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yesterday.
Secondly I want to say that I am soooooooooo happy for you and Bernard.Both of you compliment each other, especially yesterday. He looked handsome yesterday and like a mighty man of God. He stood there with authority, confidence and he looked like he was ready for whatever the enemy had coming, like he wasn't taking any mess. You looked beautiful and not only did you look like you weren't taking any mess but you didn't take any mess lol, he was quiet but both of you looked like yaw were on one accord. Don't worry just be happy, this is what God put together and let No man break apart, I know you have to put people in place but this is your time, your season, your marriage and God's and can't anybody do anything about it except yaw and God. It's not every day that people let a devine marriage be put together by the hands of our maker, the enemy is mad cause he thought it would never happen, but God is happy. Woman of God you are now complete not because you have a husband but because God gave you this gift, this ministry of marriage. So keep the bow on it and cherish it every day, whenever you get mad at him wrap him back up in the box that God wrapped him in and unwrapp him again, smile. | |
